Employable Skills Programs
Women from various at-risk backgrounds including girls rescued from trafficking, girls rescued from temple prostitution, women affected by HIV/AIDS, single mothers, and widows and women from poor low-income families, have undergone a wide range of skills development courses. These include courses in basic computers, desktop publishing, beautician, spoken English, tailoring and maggam work.
With our partners, we’ve trained nearly 7,500 women with a 90% job placement rate. Many students have performed exceedingly well at their Government exams with close to 90% of them receiving a distinction upon graduation.
